What Is HP Instant Share?
- With the storing of photos on HP servers, users simply email low-resolution thumbnails to friends and family. The recipients then click on the thumbnails and access the original images from the HP servers. This makes emailing faster, because the low-resolution thumbnail images are quicker to upload and download.
- By sending images through HP Instant Share, the recipients are able to enlarge photos, forward to other friends and family, reply to the sender's email, print the photos on their own printers as well as order prints from HP Instant Share. Saving the photos to computers and harddrives is also an option for recipients.
- HP Instant Share accommodates both PC and Internet usage. It does not attach the photos to the emails sent, but rather embeds the thumbnail links, reducing the trouble of downloading large photo attachments for recipients. Kodak Easy Share is only a PC-based program and only accommodates sending photos as large attachments.
