How to Get Miniature Mode With 7D
- 1). Attach a Canon TS-E 24 mm f/3.5 L II lens to the Canon 7D camera body. Remove the front and rear lens caps.
- 2). Turn on the Canon 7D camera.
- 3). Set the aperture and shutter speed manually. Do not use the automatic aperture settings. Keep the aperture wide open to limit the depth-of-field.
- 4). Adjust the tilt knob to set one large bar to the right on the tilt scale.
- 5). Adjust the shift knob to set one bar to the left on the shift scale. The image appears distorted. Adjust the settings further to enhance the miniature effect.
- 6). Rotate the focusing ring to achieve the sharpest focus in the middle of the scene. The softer focus appears at the top and bottom bands of the image.
- 7). Capture the still image or the video.
