Hi everyone, my name is Joi, Licensed Nail Technician. And today, I'm going to show you how to use Fimo sticks for nail art. So, I have my Fimo here in my little dispenser. I'm going to be using a top coat also. And then, I also glue and a cuticle stick. So, for those of you who don't know what Fimo is, they're actually just little spongee, this little fun designs that you can use to stick on your nails for fun nail part. So, they come in a really long stick and what we've done already here is we've taken a razor and we've sliced off little small slices and put them in this container to dispense them. So, what I'm going to do is I'm going to take my top coat and apply as usual to the nail. Okay. And then, I'm going to grab one of my Fimo designs here and I'm going to place it directly in the center of the nail. "Oops, it doesn't want to stick here." Okay. So, I'm going to place it in the center of the nail here and then I'm going to just gently press. And with the Fimo designs, they actually don't have to be flat down. It's cool if you have it sort, sort of like a bit of 3D effect. So, I'm just going to press the base of this one down, applying a little bit of pressure to kind of smash it in there so that it doesn't fall off. And usually, you're good to go. The top coat that I'm using is very sticky. If you have a top coat that's a little bit thinner, you can actually go with a nail glue and just put a little dab there and that will make it stick a little bit longer. So, when you get ready to remove it, just a little bit of a tip, you can use your nail polish remover or your acetone, soak, soak a cotton ball and hold it on there for a just a little bit longer and it will dissolve to it and remove through it and remove it very easily.
