How to Make Homemade Tension Wrenches
- 1). Hold the paperclip with the two u-shaped curves pointing down.
- 2). Straighten out the two curves that point down.
- 3). Pinch the remaining curve together with your pliers.
- 4). Measure down from the pinched curve about a quarter inch.
- 5). Bend the paperclip 90 degrees at the quarter-inch mark with your pliers.
- 6). Twist the short end of the paperclip around the long end using your fingers and pliers. This adds more stability to the tension wrench.
