How to Recover an Email I Was Writing on Facebook
- 1). Go to lazarus.interclue.com and click the "Download" tab at the top of the page. On the next screen, click the "Install Lazarus" button. Your browser should prompt you to install the add-on. Click the "Install Now" button when you see this prompt. Afterward, click the "Restart Now" button to finalize the installation.
- 2). Go to facebook.com, log into your account and click the "Messages" option from the left-hand sidebar. Click the "New Message" button and start composing a message to a friend. If the site fails or browser crashes while typing, you can recover the message after restarting the browser.
- 3). Press the "Ctrl" + "/" keys simultaneously to make the Firefox add-on bar appear at the bottom of the browser window. Right-click the "Ankk" logo at the bottom right corner of the bar and click "Search Lazarus."
- 4). Type "Facebook" as a keyword in the "Search" box, and press the Enter key. Scroll down to the last entry on the search results to find your email you were typing.
- 5). Click the icon in the "Recover" column. A pop-up window appears with the text you were previously typing. Highlight the text with your mouse cursor and copy it into the computer's memory buffer.
- 6). Return to composing your message to your friend on Facebook and paste the recovered text into the text field area. Click the "Send" or "Reply" button to finally send your Facebook email.
