• Honeymoon beach destinations are very popular choices, so try giving them a beach-related gift. Have a set of matching beach towels embroidered with the couple's new name. Add in two sun hats in masculine and feminine materials and a large beach umbrella for additional shade. Complete the gift with the playful addition of a pail and shovel. • A trip abroad to a romantic city is another frequent choice for honeymooners. Make the couple's trip easier with a nice gift basket. Start with a translation dictionary if they're traveling to a country where English isn't widely spoken. Add in two or three travel books describing the destination and a few maps. Place several items that are related to the trip; for example, if they're traveling to France, add in a miniature of the Eiffel Tower, two champagne glasses, a jar of good caviar and a bottle of French champagne. • Taking a cruise on a honeymoon is a very popular activity. A honeymoon cruise allows couples to travel from destination to destination without the bother of luggage while being pampered along the way. Make their time cruising easier with a thoughtful gift. Order a basket of fruit and chocolates to be delivered to their cabin. Give them a book about avoiding seasickness as well as several additional books about the destinations where they will travel. If they are headed for the Caribbean, include books on wildlife and a pair of matching swim goggles for snorkeling. If their destination is the Mediterranean, send sunscreen for sunny coastal climates and a waterproof camera for taking pictures at shore excursions.
