How to Use Candida Cream
- 1). Apply the topical antifungal cream to the infected area two to three times daily or as directed on the label. If you use a vaginal suppository for vaginal candida, you must insert it as far as you can into your vagina to start healing the candidiasis. If the candidiasis is severe or frequent, you may need oral medication.
- 2). Be patient. Your healing time will vary upon the type of yeast infection you have. Three to four weeks is the average time period for candidiasis to clear up. If you have recurrent or severe infections, consult your doctor.
- 3). Continue to use the topical cream even after the candidiasis appears to have gone away. Continued treatment for two weeks after symptoms dissipate to help guard against relapse and stop the infection from returning.
