There is 29% to 45% chance that men would not less likely to suffer from prostate cancer to those who already have bald spots on the top of their heads.

Lastly, lupus or diabetes may also contribute from losing large amount of hair count.
Though hair loss may be a sign of disease, it would be better to find the cause in order to be treated.
