Only If Life Gave Us a Second Chance
Have you ever wondered, what you would have done if life gave you another chance? It is said that time once gone never comes back and so is life...
Once you go through a moment, it becomes a memory and it never comes back.
You get just one moment to live, to do, to act, if you miss it, you never get the same moment back.
I am actually surprised when people say "I would not change even a single moment of my life, not a single decision, not a single thought.
" So does that mean that there are people who are perfect and live their life perfectly? Or is it that there are people who have learnt to live in the moment and never wish to change anything that has gone by? Every moment teaches one something or the other.
Every moment teaches a lesson, some learn it, some don't...
some remember it forever, some don't...
But whatever said and done...
the moment that's gone is gone...
it will never come back.
Very recently, a friend of mine told me an incident about a person who is content with his life but just wishes to get one moment back in his life.
Which moment? One morning it so happened that his wife was not feeling very well so she didn't wake up on time, he had a flight to catch, he was getting late and was very irritated that his wife didn't get up in time to give him his breakfast.
When she finally awoke, she said she was not feeling well and asked him to cancel his trip abroad.
He was irritated and left telling her to take a day off from work and stormed out of the house.
His flight was on time and as he landed on the foreign land and switched on his mobile, he got the message that his wife suffered a heart attack and had to be hospitalized.
He couldn't attend any meeting, took a flight back home and when he came back, she was dead.
Now this person just wishes he had told his wife before leaving how much he loved her, how much she mattered to him..
..
But he will neither get that moment back, nor will he get his wife back.
Now every morning evening he says it to her photo that he still loves her.
Only if life gave us a second chance...
So never hesitate in telling your loved ones how much you love them and care for them...
Life may not give you a second chance either...
