Sully Flats Pheasant Hunting in South Dakota
- Sully Flats sits in the middle of Gregory County, just 12 miles northeast of the town of Gregory. Sioux Falls is roughly 120 miles to the east.
- Sully Flats provides pheasant hunters with superior hunting conditions. The property features food plots, shelter belts and switch-grass bands, all planted and maintained to attract and keep pheasants in the area. In addition the pheasants are protected by Sully Flats' year-round trapping of predators.
- South Dakota's pheasant season begins on the third Saturday in October and continues until about New Year's Day. The daily limit is three rooster pheasants with 15 total allowed for the season. All hunters at Sully Flats must have a South Dakota hunting license.
- The Lodge provides accommodations for 22 guests, although there are only six bathrooms. Three meals daily are part of the package, including a field lunch. The package also includes guides, hunting dogs and bird cleaning.
