News report said that the ship carrying arms from Iran to Gaza strip was traced by the Israeli forces. Iran along with Egypt and Sudan has come up front supporting the rights of Palestine. Hamas on the other side said that it would be acquiring arms for its defence.

Shipment of Arms

The Sunday Times reported that the Israeli spy satellite had spotted an Iranian ship being loaded with missiles. Military analysts claimed that the ship might be carrying supplies of arms and ammunition to the Gaza strip. The report claims that the cargo might contain Fajr-5 rockets. The rockets were earlier used by the Hamas militants to target Israeli cities. Israel Defence Force had recovered the stockpiles of similar rockets after the recent round of fighting across the Gaza border. Another missile detected by the Israeli spy satellite is the Shahab-3 ballistic missile. Weapon enthusiasts can buy online images of the ballistic missile and understand their way of functioning. The ballistic missile could be a threat to Israel if stationed in Sudan.

Cease-fire

The report also mentioned the possible route through which the missiles could be transported to Gaza strip. The cargo would take the established route through the Red Sea, Sudan and Egypt. According to Iranian sources, €We believe that Iranian warships anchored in Eritrea will accompany the weapons ship as soon as it enters the Red Sea.€ The shipment with cargo is in the news since last week. Operation Pillar of Defence which was the eight-day long military operation of the Israel forces at Gaza strip came to an end after the cease-fire agreement between Israel and Hamas. You can buy content online to know about the Operation Pillar of Defence initiated by Israel. After the reports of the shipment of cargo from Iran heading towards Gaza strip; Israeli defence forces issued a statement saying, €Regardless of the cease-fire agreement, we will attack and destroy any shipment of arms to Gaza once we have spotted it.€
Hamas to acquire arms

On the other side in spite of the cease fire with Israel the Hamas senior leader Mahmoud al-Zahar said that they would continue to arm themselves with the help of Iran. The cease fire agreement which was signed in Cairo also included cessation of firing rockets at Israel. It is possible to buy news articles informing about the cease-fire agreement signed by Hamas and Iran. Israeli authorities had earlier said that it was the rockets which were targeted by Hamas militants to destroy the major cities of Israel that the defence forces launched the Operation Pillar of Defence. Zahar said, "We have a right to take money and weapons from Iran. They (Iran) give to us for the sake of God, no conditions attached, and I am a witness to that."

Iran-Egypt-Sudan

IRNA news agency reported that the Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad made a rare phone call to Hamas leader Haniyeh and praised the resistance and perseverance shown by the Hamas. He also said that the Israeli forces should now €bow' to Palestinian rights. Sudan also falsely claimed Israel for the attack on Yarmouk plant. Sudanese Information Minister Ahmed Belal Osman accused that the four Israeli planes had attacked the arms factory which is located in the nation's capital. It was later linked to the Iranian military activities. Sudan has been known to be the route through which the arms are smuggled into Hamas controlled Gaza strip. Senior Israeli leaders refused to comment, for Israel has always been accused of carrying out such strikes. Egypt has been playing a major role in smuggling the arms and ammunition to Gaza strip with the help of Iran and Sudan.
