How to Hunt Brocket Deer
- 1). Locate an area in the jungle where the presence of Brocket deer can be easily distinguished. The Brocket deer are very elusive, but they prefer to feed on the flowers and fruits of jungle underbrush or along roads, and generally a trail can be spotted near rivers.
- 2). Use trained hunting dogs to pick up the scent of Brocket deer and run them out of the brush. The dogs can easily get into thick jungle growth and set the deer off running.
- 3). Set up a shooting area near an opening or clearing along a river or creek. As the dogs drive the deer out of the jungle, you can wait ahead of the direction and get an easy shot as the dogs drive the deer to your waiting area.
