With so many beaches on the Costa del Sol to choose from it can be difficult to decide which ones you will spend a few hours or days on. So in order to help you decide which ones may suit your needs the best we take a look at just some that are considered to be the best.

Beach 1 - Cabopino

This particular beach is to be found around a 20 minute drive from the town of Marbella to the east. To reach it just take the N-340 as if heading towards Malaga and you will see a sign. There is ample parking available at the top on the right hand side as you drive down towards the resorts port. From here it is about a 5 minute walk to the beach which has some of the cleanest sand and clearest water. This beach is more than 1200 metres long and has several places on it where food and drink is available. But be warned only a short distance along from the main beach to the west is the nudist one known as Dunas de Artola.

Beach 2 - Nueva Andalucia

This particular beach is located just in front of the Hotel Guadalpin and measures around 1050 metres in length. Again the sand is very clean and the water here is very clear. Also close by are another two beaches that you may want to use known as El Duque and La Siesta. This beach is ideal for couples with small children as the area in front of the hotel has a small cove into which water settles.

Beach 3 - La Rada, Estepona

This is one of the largest beaches on the Costa del Sol measuring a total of 2630 metres. As well as having wonderful clean sand and clear water to enjoy there is a fabulous boardwalk that you can stroll along. Plus should you feel a little hungry or thirsty there are a number of good beach restaurants (Chiringuitos) you can visit.
