How to Manage Icons in an iPhone
- 1). Touch and hold any icon for a few seconds. All of the icons will begin to wiggle. Place and hold your finger on the icon you want to move, and slide your finger to the desired location.
- 2). Remove your finger and the icon will remain in its new location.
- 3). Press the "Home" button located on the bottom of the face of the phone. The icons will cease to wiggle and your new arrangement will be saved automatically.
- 1). Touch and hold any icon for a few seconds. All of the icons will begin to wiggle. Place and hold your finger on the desired icon and slide your finger to the edge of the screen (on the right to advance one page and on the left to revert to the prior page). After the desired Home screen appears, slide your finger to the desired placement.
- 2). Remove your finger and the icon will remain.
- 3). Press the "Home" button, located on the bottom of the face of the phone. The icons will cease to wiggle and your new arrangement will be saved automatically.

- 2). Remove your finger and the icon will remain.
- 3). Press the "Home" button, located on the bottom of the face of the phone. The icons will cease to wiggle and your new arrangement will be saved automatically. Note that placing icons in the dock will keep them available no matter which Home screen is currently displayed. No more than four icons can be placed on the dock. If you currently have four icons in the dock, follow the steps in Section 1 to move one icon to one of the Home screens.
- 1). Touch and hold any icon for a few seconds. All of the icons will begin to wiggle. An "x" will appear in the upper left-hand corner of each icon. Touch the icon you want to delete.
- 2). Press "Delete" to remove the icon and its corresponding data, or "Cancel" to return to the Home screen, when a prompt appears asking, "Deleting (icon name) will also delete all of its data."
- 3). Press the "Home" button, located on the bottom of the face of the phone. The icons will cease to wiggle and your new Home screen will be saved automatically.
- 1). Touch and hold any icon for a few seconds. All of the icons will begin to wiggle. Place and hold your finger on the desired icon and slide your finger to the edge of the screen on the right. If a Home screen already exists following the current one, remain on the right edge and the iPhone will continue to scroll horizontally until a new, blank Home screen appears.
- 2). Remove your finger and the icon will remain.
- 3). Press the "Home" button, located on the bottom of the face of the phone. The icons will cease to wiggle and your new arrangement will be saved.
