How to Remove a Blank Switch in a 2010 Mazda 3
- 1). Shut off the Mazda 3's engine and set the parking brake for safety. Inspect the blank switches on the left side of the dash and determine which one you want to remove.
- 2). Insert your first trim panel tool between the top edge of the blank switch and the dash panel. Insert the second trim panel tool between the bottom edge of the blank switch and the dash panel.
- 3). Push the top trim panel tool downward to disengage the top blank switch clip. Push the bottom trim panel tool upward to disengage the bottom blank switch clip.
- 4). Pull the blank switch outward to remove it. To reinstall it, simply set it in its mount and push it forward. When you install it, the clips automatically pop into place.
