Baby Predictor - Mixing Gender and Joy With Social Responsibility

20
Baby predictors come in a variety of styles.
There are an abundance of oracles and other third-party methods.
Advisors and methods abound and most have some relevance if for no other reason than the issue of your next baby's gender is so important.
There remain those for whom the next baby's sex is not important.
They are truly sincere.
Come what may, they are prepared for either a boy or girl.
There is joy and excitement in not knowing the baby's sex.
Don't mess with Mother Nature.
However, for many couples, the gender issue is relevant for a host of reasons.
If a couple or even one member of the couple desires to have the next baby's sex be determined in advance, then there is a little or a lot of stress or tension regarding this issue.
Much is riding on the gender issue.
Usually, the issues surrounding a couple's pregnancy are left to the couple.
For the rest of us, it is a mind-your-own business proposition.
However, there is one issue that is not often considered when a couple is contemplating having a baby.
Allow me to pose the issue in the form of a hypothetical question.
" If you could determine the gender of your next baby in advance, would it be likely to change the relationship you now have with regards to some of the following issues?" 1.
The short- and long-term health of the mother.
2.
The finances regarding the couple's relationship.
3.
Fewer children come with less stress.
4.
Just want one child please.
5.
Already overwhelmed with work and raising children.
6.
Pressure from the biological clock - running out of time.
7.
Social and familial pressures.
8.
Infertility issues make the next babylikely to be the last baby.
If any of these issues apply to you, then a case can be made that the more socially responsible thing to do is to plan your next baby's sex in advance.
How many additional baby's are born to satisfy a need that was not fulfilled in an earlier pregnancy.
You know what I mean.
A recent estimate of the average cost of having and raising a child in the U.
S.
was $200,000.
This estimate applies to the family.
However, society has a financial stake in this issue as well.
Social health and educational costs are significant investments that society must make.
There is also the dark issue of the unwanted child.
Talk to adults and you will find those that grew up as the unwanted child.
It has lifetime consequences.
There is nothing wrong with planning your next baby's sex in advance.
In fact, it just may be the most comforting and responsible thing to do.
