Clear Channel Radio is pumping up the expansion of its popular mobile app, iheartradio, with launches across new platforms and products. Thanks to new partners that include Toyota, Rosen, iHome and Walnut Media, iheartradio will give the user access to Clear Channel's radio stations at home, in the car, online or on the go.

In a press release Clear Channel says, "iheartradio will be included in the Toyota Entune multimedia system, which is being unveiled this week at the 2011 CES.


Toyota Entune leverages the customer’s mobile phone to create a richer in-vehicle experience that offers fully integrated and upgradeable navigation, entertainment, and information services." iheartradio will bring the company's 750 radio stations and channels to the Toyota Entune.

iheartradio will also be phased into a growing line of in-dash multi-media navigation systems early this year by Rosen Entertainment Systems. "Factory-Look Multi-Media & Navigation systems will include a built-in iheartradio interface for iPhone, Android and Blackberry devices," says the release.

iheartradio at Home

iHome (established in 2005 as a division of SDI Technologies to develop and market iPod electronic) is joining with iheartradio and enhancing it's iHome+Sleep app. iPhone, iPod touch and iPad users will be able to heard Clear Channels' content on three new iHome app-enhanced clock radios: The iA63 App-Enhanced Alarm Clock FM RadioSpeaker System with Motorized Rotating Dock, the iA17 App-Enhanced Color Changing Alarm Clock FM Radio and the iA91 App Enhanced Dual Alarm Stereo Clock Radio.

Clear Channel Radio has also announced a revamped iheartradio web site at iheartradio.com which will now offer "...a uniform log-in process across mobile and online platforms, a personalized home screen, social integration for sharing favorite stations and videos, enhanced navigation and search capabilities for all radio stations and a remodeled 'On Air' screen."
