However, studies show that diet sodas do not actually help in losing weight.
If you really want to lose weight, it is important that you take no kind of soda at all.
Below are some of the points to remember regarding diet and sodas.
* The artificial sweeteners that are present in sodas would stop the body from processing the calorie intake that you have for the day.
As a result, you will feel more hunger and gain more weight as well.
It is essential that you have a balanced amount of calories and sugar.
Therefore, if there is high amount of sweets in the body it will also need high amount of calorie at the same time.
* According to the statistics, the more people that drink diet sodas the more people become obese.
Unfortunately, the American think that the sweets in the artificial sweeteners would not give them high calorie amount.
That is why they think that they have more room for sweets.

There were two rats tested wherein one ate foods that have artificial sweeteners while the other rat eats food that have regular sweeteners.
The rats were given 10 days before they were given a diet rich in calorie.
As a result, the rat who took the artificial sweeteners consumed more calories compared to those who ate naturally sweet foods.
Therefore, you should never consider drinking any kind of soda especially if you are trying to lose weight.
On the other hand, if you really can't resist drinking soda particularly during the hot season, make sure that you drink the ordinary soda in the market.
Never opt for a soda that says Low Calorie, Zero Calorie, and the like.
It would only trick your mind but your body will crave more for foods which would lead to gain weight.
