My Marriage Is In Shambles - Can It Be Saved?

The first thing that you have to remember is that all relationships go through rough times.
But it is never easy.
Especially if one of the partners has said that it is over.
But don't give up yet.
Here's some tips to help keep hope alive! 1) Get Some Breathing Room You have to be able to take a step back & look at things from both partners perspective.
Don't be pushy & demand answers right away.
This will only alienate your partner more.
Remember that you are both feeling pressure, & you have to give that pressure time to simmer down before you attempt to do anything.
Don't rush into decisions.
2) Remain Positive You have to keep a positive attitude, no matter how hard it may seem to do so.
If you start to get down on yourself by feeling depressed or insecure, you may wind up making things worse instead of better.
It is hard to keep a bright outlook during these times, but you need to find a creative solution to your problems, & having a dismal outlook on things will cloud your judgements.
3) Be The Bigger Person People say things when they are mad or upset that they don't really mean.
In this situation, you need to be the bigger person.
No matter what is said, don't strike back.
They may be trying to cover up their guilt by striking out at you.
So don't take it personally.
Remember, how you react can have a huge impact on how things play out from here on.
4) Take Care Of Yourself A lot of people coming off a break up have a tendency to let themselves go.
Don't fall into this rut.
It can be fatal.
Be sure that you exercise, pick up new hobbies, go out with friends, socialize at church, etc.
Don't focus all of your attention on the problems at hand.
Remember, you cannot control what your partner does, but you can control your actions.
No matter the outcome, just know that you did your best.
