Camping Out

• The outdoorsy bride-to-be may enjoy a camping adventure with her friends and bridesmaids as an eco-friendly alternative to the usual bachelorette party that involves drinking. Many state and national parks don't allow alcohol on their grounds, so it's a great place to have an alcohol-free party. There are a variety of things to do for a camping bachelorette party rather than drink. For example, the bride and her girls can go hiking, kayaking, climbing or canoeing, depending on what is available at that particular campground. The group can also do the standard camping routine of making s'mores, grilling out on a campfire or just hanging out---talking and enjoying the beautiful surroundings of the outdoors.

• The bride-to-be who prefers to stay home and enjoy herself for a bachelorette party may enjoy having the girls over and turning the bachelorette party into a home spa day. The ladies can have food catered for the party, including appetizers and maybe a light lunch, or they can do the food potluck style, and ask everyone to bring a dish of their choosing.
  
  Again, alcohol doesn't have to be a part of this bachelorette party, as there will be plenty to do without feeling the pressure to have a beer or glass of wine. Instead, the bride-to-be and her girls can enjoy some fruit juice with soda water, or water infused with vitamins and lemon to give their skin a healthy shine. The bride-to-be may like to have professionals come in to pamper her and the other party-goers, or the group may choose to have a DIY spa party. Some licensed massage therapists, nail stylists, and aestheticians do house parties and are more than happy to come pamper a party of ladies for an afternoon. However, you can save some money if you go to a beauty supply store yourself and purchase some lotions, pumice stones and face care products to perform the work yourself.
  
  

Girl's Night Out

• Sometimes, girls just wanna have fun. And they can do this without involving any alcohol. A girl's night out may consist of going to a nice dinner and heading out to see the latest chick flick on the silver screen, or going to watch the newest upcoming band perform a show at a local dive. The possibilities for a girl's night out are virtually endless, and you can tailor the night to whatever the bride-to-be enjoys doing the most. For example, the girls can go golfing, play tennis, enjoy a night of bowling, compete in laser tag, or do any other group sport in which everyone can participate. Some girl's nights may involve going to a strip club or just enjoying the company of the others and grabbing ice cream. It's a very flexible alternative option for a bachelorette party that gives the bachelorette the freedom to decide exactly what she wants to do for her own party.
