Child experts are everywhere today. They preach their beliefs suggesting that parenting should be this and that. And one prominent point is that many parenting experts believe parents should not impose their beliefs on their own children. Children should be free to make their own choices. Well that is not the way a Christian parent behaves. They believe their faith is what has made them the person they are today and they want their children to share that faith.
Christians believe every person is pre-ordained to live their life in the light and love of the knowledge of God. This means the parent has to be on hand to educate, inform and direct. This is the very basis of what it means to be a Christian parent.
No matter what are the challenges in today's changing world and no matter the advice from parenting experts, Christian parents know their role and know it has never changed nor will it ever change.
