How to Transfer a Game From My PC to My NDS
- 1). Obtain a flash card to use in storing all backed up games and community-designed titles. Acceptable choices include the R4 series, the M3 series and the EZ Flash cartridge.
- 2). Acquire a MicroSD card and a MicroSD card PC adapter. Connect the MicroSD card to the adapter and insert it into a USB port on your computer.
- 3). Download the flash card's firmware settings from its official site. The firmware essentially serves as its operating system. It allows you to browse for and manage all games once transferred.
- 4). Open the "Windows Explorer" or "Computer" utility from the "Start" menu. Double click the MicroSD card entry, presented as a general mass storage unit. Copy and paste the firmware file(s) to the main root of the MicroSD card without any special installation procedure.
- 5). Create a new folder within the root of the Micro SD card, which will be dedicated to the games you wish to transfer to the Nintendo DS. From Windows Explorer, go to "File," click "New" and then click "Folder." Name this directory "Games."
- 6). Move the free games you wish to transfer to the "Games" folder. Insert the MicroSD card into the flash card of your choice. Insert the flash card into the NDS' main games slot.
- 7). Turn on the console and allow it to launch its firmware menu automatically. Browse for the game you wish to execute and press "Start" or "A" to launch it.
