But what if yours also has allergies to dogs and can't be around them? The good news is, there is most probably an easy solution for it: Choose a breed your child is not allergic to.
There are tens of popular and lovely dog breeds out there.
Some of them are hyper-allergic and not good for people with allergies, and some of hypo-allergic which means are generally safe for allergic people.
So the simple solution is finding a breed that your child's body system can be around without causing any health issues and allergies.
Even though each person is unique and different and it depends on your child's body and type of allergy that which breed will be the best for him/her, but there are some general guidelines to help you get started.
Generally, dogs with less hair are much better for allergic people - especially children.
It is simply because they shed less fur.
Also dog breeds that have shorter hair or a thick single coat are more in the hypo-allergic group, so safer for your children.
