Ampere Appoints Accomplished Industry Veteran, Dr Arvind Shukla As Mentor, Business Development Head
Noida, India, September 1st, 2011: Ampere Software, the specialist software product engineering company, today announced it has appointed Dr Arvind Shukla as Mentor and Business Development Head. Dr Arvind Shukla; an Industry Veteran with more than 30 years of professional experience joined as Mentor. He would be spearheading the business development efforts in European, APAC regions and worldwide. Dr Shukla has held several important roles in various Companies such as the CEO of Orissa Trust of Technical Education & Training; President of India Operations, for Vayam Technologies Ltd (formerly iBILT Technologies Ltd); Advisor to Tech Mahindra Ltd for their non-Telecom business. Prior to this he served as the business Unit Head for India and the Global Enterprise Integration Practice for NIIT Technologies and also led the business unit for the Asia Pacific (APAC) region in NIIT Technologies for over three years.
Over a decade ago, Dr Shukla was with IBM Global Services India, where he had several roles such as the Vice President of Business Innovation Services; Country Manager for Distribution, Communications and Public sector business.
In his career, Dr Shukla has held several senior management responsibilities in HCL Perot Systems, HCL Hewlett Packard Ltd and CMC Ltd. Dr Shukla had started his career in research and development working in Oil & Natural Gas Commission and University of Delhi.
Dr Shukla has been an active member of many Industry Associations and Societies and has worked closely with Corporate and Government bodies in India and abroad for their Information Technology requirements. He has addressed many audiences on technology and management issues and has served them in various capacities in implementing their programs.
