I found out about this campground at a welcome center, and I RV camped there in September 2008.
Describe your camping trip:
40 acres with 3 ponds. All the sites were large and several were pull through. You were always close to the water and nice warm showers.
Pros: Nature undisturbed. Family atmosphere. Great owners.
Cons: No laundry at the time. To be added in October.
Nearby attractions: Museum district with five museums, great shopping, historical sites.
All less than 25 miles away. Entertainment on-site the weekend we were there.
Further comments: Great family camping atmosphere. Lot of activities or you can enjoy just sitting around the fire. Definitely would recommend to RVers and tent campers.
