Swimming is good for the body to help keep you healthy and strong. Kids and adults love to swim, it makes them feel good and it is fun. You can swim so many ways like diving, doggy paddle, and more. You can spend hours in the water because it is relaxing. People do it in the summer and in the winter, but you have to watch it in the winter because the water can be very cold and it can put you in shock. You can get sick if your body can not handle it. You can get hypothermia, which is not good for your system at all.

The same thing can happen in the summer as well because if you are too hot and you go into a cold water it can do the same. So it might be a good idea to slowly walk into the water so your body will get used to it. If you do not know how to swim, it is not hard to learn, it is very easy. You can learn it when you are little or if you are older. There is no age limit to learn how, lessons are available to everyone. There are professionals that will help you learn how to swim very well. It can take hours to days to learn how, it just depends on the person and how fast they can learn.

With kids you will need to keep an eye on them so nothing will happen to them. Some little kids can not swim that fast or that good and they can drown. You do not want this to happen so you will want to keep them close or keep a hold of them. You will need to make sure that they have a life jacket on so they will not drown. The life jackets cause them to float on the water so they will not go under. Never let them in the water with out it, keep them safe. All kids need to wear them until the are of the age were they will not need it.

Swimming is good for exercising. You will use muscles in your body that you never thought you had. It will keep you in shape and healthy so you can live longer. It helps you move your legs and makes them strong every time your swim. Swimming works on your abdominal muscles, arms, back muscles, shoulders, all over your body. It can help you lose weight if you need to or if you want to. It helps keep your body in good condition and is good for your heart too. When you swim you will notice after a few times because you can feel it work. So go out and go swimming, get in shape and have fun.
