How to Make Heart Birds for Weddings

8
    • 1). Cut out one light-pink heart approximately 3 inches tall and 2 inches wide for the base of the bird's body.

    • 2). Cut out another light-pink heart approximately 1 inch tall and 1 inch wide for the bird's head. Lay the body heart flat; tuck the point of the head heart under the body heart and secure it with glue so that the curved top of the head heart forms the top of the bird's head.

    • 3). Cut out two more hearts in the darker pink shade for the bird's wings. These wings should be about 1 1/2 inches square. Position the points of the wing hearts on the back of the body heart, one on each side, to resemble wings; glue the wings to the back of the body.

    • 4). Cut out two tiny white hearts and two smaller pink ones for the bird's eyes. Glue at the top of the head, attaching the dark pink ones on top of the white ones.

    • 5). Cut out a dark-pink heart slightly larger than the eye hearts for the bird's beak. Glue in place below the eyes, point down.

    • 6). Create additional birds following Steps 1-5. Glue two birds' wings together to form a pair of love birds "holding wings." Put a pair of love birds at each guest's place setting at the reception.
