One in 9 Million
America has been hit by a one-time big-time crime coined as identity theft.
In a year, 9 million citizens fall under the crucial situation caused by this booming crime.
Not only has it reached America but it has also created devastating effects to the neighboring continents that spreads all the way to Asia.
It is indeed a misfortune whenever you will be one of the 9 million victims that police records annually; mind you, those are just recorded and still not counting the unfiled cases of identity theft.
Just think about it, the number could be doubled or even tripled and it will continue to increase if you will not take the necessary steps to prevent this crime from happening not only to you but also to the people around you.
To carefully protect ourselves from being one of the 9 million victims in America, running is not the best option.
Rather than creating a good itinerary trip for an easy escape, prepare more for the beginning of everything and it starts from the very moment we trust the whole wide world.
Not that I am telling that you should not trust anyone around you but it takes a good way of thinking and seeing things to determine how and why we have to divulge information about ourselves.
Remember that there are people who will take everything and do anything just to take advantage of us.
With that in mind, we have to build a strong boundary that will then determine what goes in and what goes out.
It may be bad to prevent ourselves from communicating to other people in our most honest state but will it not be worse if we will just give and give without the slightest doubt whether that person can keep it to himself or use against us.
Also, that will not only cause us trouble but also to the people around us like our family since they will also indirectly suffer the possible debts that we will then face after being a victim if identity theft.
Not only will we have to suffer financial matters when we fall as one of the 9 million but we will also have to face a worse eye from the community we belong to.
Not everyone will easily believe that we just faced identity theft and with that, we will somehow find it to see people especially those who are in line with finances to once again put their trust on us.
We have the freedom to communicate and express ourselves but real freedom comes with real choices.
We have to choose the proper way and the proper time to trust people around us especially nowadays when there is already a booming crime which is identity theft.
We do not want to have another identity without us knowing about it, right? Identity theft is really a trend that is happening around us but that does not mean that we should fall under this or do this against other people.
