To our single Christian women professionals - we salute you! Inherited through generations of Christian living from the Medieval period up to the present, the purpose of work to provide for the physical needs of one's family as well as to avoid the sin of idleness stayed with us.
It was because of this work ethic woven into our religion that the typical attitude of single Christian women was formed.
Somebody's got to do it especially in a household where there are no men, as women have to take charge in order to move forward.
These women are go-get.
ters and have trained to be experts in their fields of discipline.
In the white-collar field, they could be doctors, lawyers, accountants, engineers, nurses, etc.
Other professionals are in the blue-collar sector and are specialists in certain vocations such as care givers, fire-women, police-women, plumbers, electricians, carpenters etc.
These are people who have joined the work force in order to provide for themselves and in some cases their love ones.
They got dreams they want to fulfill and ambitions they want to attain.
They have set standards to rate themselves and they strive to organize themselves in order to meet their goals in life.
They are time conscious and take pride in the work they do.
They are usually college graduates or have taken formal education and training in their particular fields of practice.
Since they have jobs, they are usually in the middle to upper income bracket of our societies.
Because they are independent and have jobs to support themselves, they decide what's best for themselves.
Generally, they expect the same from their mates as much as possible? But not everybody gets lucky.
However, based from the blog posts I've read, it seems that even though they have the determination to succeed in their careers a big percentage of them are still single and they stay single for the rest of their lives.
Now, where have all the good guys gone! Shame on you! Don't you know how exciting it is to have a single Christian woman professional as a girlfriend and eventually a wife.
Can't beat that! First of all, she's smart and she's got something going on for herself which is challenging and exciting.
Somebody who can really help you raise a family and have a good life.
