How to Use Vinegar to Defrost Windshields
- 1). Remove the lid from your spray bottle. Measure the water with your measuring cup and pour it into the bottle.
- 2). Measure the vinegar and pour it into the same spray bottle. Reattach the lid and lightly shake the bottle to mix the contents.
- 3). Spray the windshield of your vehicle generously with the vinegar solution before you go to bed at night. In the morning, your windshield should be clear of ice.
- 4). Spray another generous amount of the vinegar solution to your windshield if some ice has managed to form upon it overnight. The ice and frost should simply melt away. If it does not, continue spraying the windshield with the vinegar solution until the ice disappears.
