How to Dispose of Used Law Books
- 1). Post a notice on the law school community boards that advertise used books for sell. All law schools maintain these boards in different locations to announce activities, meetings, and items for sale, including law books.
- 2). Visit the college or university book store. Most academic book stores sponsor a text book buy-back program at the end of a semester, or before the start of a new term. Keep your text books in good condition, and you can obtain a decent price through such a buy-back program.
- 3). Use Internet resources to sell your used law books. Your law school or its university community likely maintains a website that includes a classified section. Through this website you can post your books for sale. Check on-line for other classified ad sites. Look for websites that specialize in providing a place to sell law books. Try Amazon.com, which lets you sell used textbooks, including law books.
- 4). Word of mouth is an effective means of finding a buyer for your used law books. Law schools tend to be fairly tight educational communities.
