This tutorial is assuming you are using Internet Explorer 7.
Today we will discuss clearing private data if you are an Internet Explorer user.
Once you are in the browser and ready to clear the data, click on the top right menu item called "Tools".
After clicking "Tools", a menu should appear with an item on the bottom called "Internet Options".
Click on that and you should get a pop up box with a bunch of other options.
In this box, you will see towards the middle, a section called "Browsing History".
This is the area where you will be able to delete temporary internet files, history, cookies, saved passwords, and web form information.
Click on "Delete" and you will get another box with more information on exactly what you want to delete.
Remember, you can erase someone's saved passwords from here so be very careful what you click on.
If this is a public computer such as one in a library or school that many people use, you will want to erase all the private data after your session to ensure that the next person using the computer does not see any of your personal information.
Clicking "Delete All" will erase all the saved data.
After clicking "Erase All", you will get another prompt with a check box that asks you if you want to delete files and settings stored by add-ons.
Click this check box and hit YES.
