Celebrate Ramadan With Starwood Preferred Guest And Win A Vip Abu Dhabi Grand Prix Package
Starwood Preferred Guest members planning to spend Ramadan away from home will be treated to a series of discounts and special offers over the next few weeks.
Travellers taking Abu Dhabi holidays or going to other destinations in the Middle East and staying at Starwood hotels during the Holy Month, from 20th July to 18th August, 2012, will be able to take advantage of discounted Iftars and the chance to win a special VIP package to the Formula One Abu Dhabi Grand Prix in November this year.
Starwood Preferred Guest members will receive a 20 per cent discount on Iftars at 37 participating hotels and resorts across the Middle East, United Arab Emirates, Africa and the Indian Ocean.
Guests taking holidays in the Middle East at the participating hotels will also have the opportunity to sign up for Starwood Preferred Guest programme on the spot during their stay.
To celebrate selflessness throughout the Holy Month, tourists can also nominate a friend or family member for the Ramadan Giving Contest. During their dining experience, guests can explain why they feel their chosen person deserves to win the VIP package to the Formula One Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.
Each Starwood property will submit their winning nominations and the winner of the grand prize will be announced in the first week of September, 2012. Runner-ups will win a complimentary meal for two at the original hotel they stayed at.
The Formula One package includes full-day VIP passes for the winning nominee and the person who nominated them plus exclusive Formula One hospitality and access to the pit lane during the pit lane walk. During their holidays to Abu Dhabi, the winners will enjoy a special meet-and-greet with one of the Mercedes AMG Petronas drivers. One final treat will be a stay at one of Starwoods most luxurious Abu Dhabi hotels, The St. Regis Abu Dhabi, which is scheduled to open later this year.
