How to Assemble an Adult Tricycle
- 1). Hold the front wheel with pedals with one hand on a flat surface with the tire on the surface.
- 2). Insert the tricycle head tube at the front of the body onto the top of the front wheel assembly.
- 3). Slide the headset lock ring onto the front wheel assembly tube that is protruding up from the tricycle head tube. Turn the headset lock ring clockwise by hand to partially tighten it in place.
- 4). Slide the stem clamp onto the headset lock ring with the clamp facing the front of the tricycle.
- 5). Insert the handlebar assembly into the steering tube to a depth marked minimum depth on the handle bar assembly.
- 6). Place an adjustable wrench on the stem clamp with one hand and another adjustable wrench on the headset lock ring with the other hand. Turn each wrench in opposite directions to tighten the connection partially.
- 7). Position the handle bar assembly so that the sides are perpendicular to the front wheel. Continue tightening the stem clamp and the headset with two adjustable wrenches until the connection is tight.
- 8). Thread the axle through the tube on the rear of the tricycle to support the tires.
- 9). Slide a wheel on the right side of the axle. Slide a washer on the axle and a nut. Tighten the nut with an adjustable wrench by turning it clockwise. Repeat this process for the left wheel.

Place the tricycle seat on the top of the frame. Tighten the nut with an adjustable wrench at a comfortable height for the rider.
