What Is Reiki?
Reiki is self-healing.
Healing is the natural process by which the body repairs itself and restores health to its natural condition.
The body cells are rejuvenated, old toxins and emotions are released and replaced by new life.
After a treatment people commonly say: "I feel refreshed, I feel vitalised.
I feel whole.
I feel good".
Healing is the act of getting rid of all imbalances and creating harmony with the soul.
That is Reiki healing, that is the healing that you can expect after one or several Reiki sessions.
Reiki never Harms.
Reiki is not only for the sick; our whole planet needs Reiki energy: politics, education, economy, business, finance and all fields of living.
Reiki, as we know it today, began in the early 1900s.
It is recorded that through study, research and meditation a Japanese man, MikaoUsui, had an experience of empowerment that led to the development of Reiki as a healing system.
Usui devoted the rest of his life to practising and teaching this art of living and healing.
Over time the system of Reiki healing developed by MikaoUsui has evolved, or been changed, by subsequent teachers.
Today a number of different forms, or branches, of Reiki are practised worldwide.
A common element of many forms of Reiki is a set of principles or precepts.
While there are variations in the expression and interpretation of the precepts, they are all based on the original teachings of MikaoUsui.
"The true purpose of the Reiki method is to correct the heart-mind, keep the body fit, and lead a happy life using the spiritual capabilities humans are endowed with since birth.
" The Five Precepts used in Reiki are: 1.
Do not become angry 2.
Worry about nothing 3.
Express one's gratitude 4.
Be diligent in work 5.
Be kind to others Excerpt from the translation on a monument to MikaoUsui at the Seihoji Temple in Tokyo.
During a treatment, whatsoever the cause or causes, Reiki energy runs through energetic lines or meridians which means that a re-organisation is underway, as well as a return to harmony, balance as the normal condition of the body.
Wellbeing cannot be infused intravenously or prescript as a medicament.
It comes from within, from the matrix, from the healer within, from the willingness to accept responsibility, to deal with stress, anxiety with a sense of purpose.
Reiki as a healing power is a great force as it works always for the highest good and support positively, constructively and creatively in a gentle way any person willing to undergo transformation and change in life.
As your own Reiki ritual you can recite the five precepts morning and evening, and keep them in one's heart.
Today, throughout the entire day...
give it a try it's worth it.
Until next time...
