Hi, I'm Reanna Amy, welcome to Lee's Salon. Today, I'm going to show you how to dye your hair hot red. Okay, when you are dying your hair hot red you are going to need to pre-lighten it. So this is our pre-lightener. It's a bleach, and we are going to be putting it on the scalp so it needs to be a cream bleach or an oil bleach. Make sure you cover your roots very well, and pull it through the entire hair. Make sure that everything is nice and saturated. With your bleach, you want to make sure you don't get too much on your client's ear cause it can get a little irritated. So, you are going to go section by section, and make sure you get everything nice and saturated. Once you get this all on, this is going to process for approximately 35 to 40 minutes. Going to make sure it's all nice and saturated before you get to that point. Then, you are going to wrap it all up and put it on the scalp so that it can the warmth from the scalp. So, we are going to let that sit for 45 minutes, and then we will be ready to go in with our red hair dye. Now that we've pre-lightened the hair, we are ready to go in with our red hair dye. It's the same procedure. Make sure you cover the roots well and pull it through all the hair. Make sure everything gets nice and saturated. Again, make sure the root's nice and saturated, and it's totally okay if your hair is wet. It actually helps the color spread through the hair. So, we are going to do this all over the entire head, and once we are done it's the same. We are going to place it against the scalp so it can get the heat off of the head, and we are going to let that process for approximately 30 minutes. We are going to wash it, and you will have hot red hair.
