How to Change the Lock Screen for the iPhone Without Jailbreaking It
- 1). Find an image you want to use as the background on the Lock screen. You can download an image from the Internet by pressing your finger against an image and then tapping "Save," or you can download an app for iPhone wallpapers and save a photo from the app directly to your iPhone. You can also use pictures you have taken with your iPhone still in your device's camera roll.
- 2). Tap the "Photos" app or tap the Camera app. If you tap the Camera app, tap the image in the lower-left corner of the screen to be taken to the camera roll, where you can see any pictures you've taken with your iPhone that are still on the device. Tap the album with the photo you want to use if you are in the Photo app. In either the Photo app or the camera roll, tap the image you want to use as the background for the Lock screen.
- 3). Tap the icon in the bottom-left corner that looks like an arrow coming out of a box.
- 4). Tap "Use as Wallpaper." Adjust the size and alignment of the photo with your fingers. Tap "Set."
- 5). Tap "Set Lock Screen" or "Set Both" if you also want the photo to be the wallpaper for both the Lock screen and the Home screen.
