Though Dalhousie does not have an airport of its own but other cities close to this one do have one. The closest domestic airport is at Pathankot in the state of Punjab, but is connected to New Delhi only, and is just 75 kilometres away from Dalhousie. The second nearest airport is Gaggal airport which is in the Kangra district of Himachal Prades and is about 140 kilometres away from the city. The airport is both domestically and internationally well connected.
