How to Date in Your Thirties
- 1). Sign up for a dating website, such as eHarmony or Match.com. You can create a custom profile to designate your likes and interests, making it more likely to meet someone you are compatible with.
- 2). Ask friends or family to set you up with a person who shares your interests. Friends may have connections with someone in a social circle that you don't know or spend much time with.
- 3). Attend meetings or gatherings related to your interest. Sign up for a 5K race or a cooking class. You will have a chance to meet other single people with the same hobby as you (or at least learn a new skill while you're there).
- 4). Be open to new experience or date outside your usual "type." Try something you've always wanted but never dared to. Go to an open house at a museum, sign up to play a club sport or join a book club.
- 5). Keep an open mind and have fun. Remember no one, including yourself, is perfect. Even a bad date deserves a second chance.
