My wife and I dabbled in this a little with a very good natural nutritional product company.
But frankly neither one of us was very good at developing a downline, and that's where it seemed the really big money was.
Fortunately I heard about article marketing and blogging.
So, just what is article marketing and why is it a great Christian home based business? This is a method where you write small articles for publication and discuss a product or service that you think will bring real value into your Christian brothers and sisters' lives.
And there are hundreds of very valuable things out there on the internet that can really help people.
Or perhaps it's just everyday things that people are buying anyway.
When you get your articles published you add a link where your readers can read more about your product and then purchase it.
And you can do a similar thing with blogging.
Blogging is a little different in that it takes a little longer to get going but will lead to longer term passive income.
That's why I use both for my home based business.
The great thing is that both are free to start! Now I'm no Shakespeare when it comes to writing but I read a book called "Write Like You Speak" and thought that sounded easy enough.
I wrote a few articles for practice and it wasn't long before I got the hang of it.
So, once I realized I could write well enough I started looking around for ways that would allow me to get paid for it.
I needed a quick start method for developing my home based business.
I bought a lot of electronic books before I found one that took me by the hand and showed me EXACTLY what to do, step-by-step.
It was so simple that I think someone in grade school could follow it and become successful.
My daughter belongs to a Christian group at school and I told her about it.
College kids are always looking for ways to make extra money.
