How to Put ISO on Zune

11
    • 1). Hold the Windows logo button and press the R key to open the Run dialog box.

    • 2). Type "regedit" into the text box and press "Enter."

    • 3). Open "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE," expand "System," click "ControlSet001," select "Enum" and finally, open "USB." If your Zune is using firmware more recent than Nov 13, 2007, open "ControlSet002" instead of ControlSet001.

    • 4). Right-click the USB folder and click on the "Find..." option. Type "PortableDeviceNameSpace" into the box and hit "Enter." The settings for your Zune will appear in this format:

      Vid_####&Pid_####\########_-_########_-_########_-_########\Device

The hash signs will appear as numbers, which are different for every Zune.

    • 5). Click on the settings for your Zune. In the right side of the registry editor, you will see all the settings that can be changed.

    • 6). Click on "EnableLegacySupport" and set the value to "1." Next, set the value for "PortableDeviceNameSpaceExcludeFromShell" to "0." Finally, set the value to 1 for "ShowInShell." Close the registry editor.

    • 7). Plug your Zune into the computer via USB cable. Locate the ISO file on your hard drive and copy it by highlighting it and pressing "Ctrl" and "C."

    • 8). Open "Computer" from the Start menu and double-click the Zune icon. Select a folder to copy the ISO file to or create your own folder for personal storage.

    • 9). Copy the ISO file to the Zune by pressing the "Ctrl" and "V" keys.
