How to Make Curly Hair Grow Faster
- 1). Wash your hair only twice a week or so, which will eliminate the biggest obstacle in growing your curly hair long: dryness. If you are used to washing it daily, it may seem greasy at first, but will adjust to the new routine in a few weeks.
- 2). Wash your hair by massaging a quarter-sized amount of clarifying shampoo into your scalp, but avoiding the strands. Rinse the shampoo and apply conditioner to the strands of your hair. Before you rinse out the conditioner, use a wide-toothed comb to gently remove the tangles. Rinse all the conditioner from your hair.
- 3). Squeeze the hair dry with your towel rather than rubbing it, which can cause breakage and tangles. Scrunch a small amount of jojoba oil into the wet hair rather than using a silicone-based product, which will create a barrier and end up causing more dryness. Let the hair air dry, or use a diffuser nozzle on your blow dryer.
- 4). Avoid using heat styling tools on your hair as much as possible. Curly hair is delicate and can become very damaged when forced out of its natural state.
