After Jason's release, he soon reported to his probation officer. She asked him about the things he had learned to help out of life. He told her:

I had the same direction as all my familyaddictions, jail, anger and destruction. Subconsciously, I was programmed with the lie that I was not good, and I lived in the lower half. I found out that I am much better than I thought I ever was. I have also learned that I make not responsible for the misuse of a home.

I've learned that regardless of the fact that I didn't have power over my early days, before I completely take control of the present. I am a brand new man every day, and I can forgive the wrong done to me. I can forgive and forget the election, so I continue with my life. My past has no control over my future.

I've learned that I can not exist and the blame my parents or anyone else for all my questions. Life is not always fair, and I have to get the most out of my situation. The only way I can let go with my life, the past is on.

The Life Skills class is to carry me that I am a valuable person, and I have infinite potential, that my life is amazing gift filled with a variety of fresh and beautiful views, and that I have to conquer in a position to my problem if I another wish.

I have learned that the beating, smashing into walls, burned with cigarettes, may go hungry, feeling shame and terror grow ever live without me to a better, more caring person. I have learned that harsh conditions and conflicts can help me grow stronger if I decide to learn something from.

And finally, I realized that I have control of my own ship. I can carry it anywhere I want. If I did not change, I will keep my course suffer consequences that are harmful for my actions and my life is getting harder and harder until I either die or change.
