Football camps present intense training opportunities for high school and middle school students looking to take their game to the next level. - Arkansas Tech University hosts five different summer football camps for kids as young as 6 years old to senior athletes graduating high school. The Youth Summer Camp, for kids ages 6 to 12, teaches the fundamentals of football through agility stations, which include footwork, catching, passing, kicking, tackling, and offensive patterns. In addition, Tech football players facilitate a meeting where they inform kids about college life and their experiences as college football players. The team camp focuses on team strategies and development areas necessary to improve the quality of play and cohesiveness of the group. Arkansas Razorbacks Football Camps feature four different camps divided into age-appropriate sessions that develop and enhance individual skills. The Senior High Camp, a three-day camp for high school players, parallels a Razorback football practice in addition to holding 7-on-7 competitions. The Junior High Camp, for athletes in fifth through eighth grades, is a non-contact three-day session that teaches kids the basics and duties of specific positions on offense and defense. The Youth Camp, reserved for kids in first through fourth grades, hosts a non-contact half-day camp where players learn the fundamentals of numerous positions and are exposed to all aspects of the game. The Junior/Senior Prospect Camp offers eleventh and twelfth graders exposure to premier football practices at high competitive levels.
