How to Troubleshoot a Saab 9-3 Radio
- 1). Pull down on the fuse panel cover under the steering column manually.
- 2). Locate the fuse for the radio using the fuse diagram on the underside of the fuse panel.
- 3). Pull the fuse for the radio using the fuse pullers in the fuse panel and inspect the fuse. If the metal strip inside the fuse is broken, replace i with a new fuse of the same amperage.
- 4). Press the "Power" button on the radio. If your Saab 9-3 flashes "CODE" on the display, you need to enter the radio unlock code. This radio lock feature on your Saab will be triggered by cutting power to the radio. If you don't have an unlock code, you'll need your Saab dealer to reset the radio for you. If you cannot get the radio to power on, have it replaced. If the radio powers on but you are unable to use it, the radio will need to be replaced.
