Truth About Cleaning
People who are not involved in everyday chores around the house, should be less critical about people who are, when they are complaining, because it is hard to know how it is to clean after everyone all the time, when they are in the mood for it and when they are not.
Why? No matter who does all the cleaning, that person must complain sometimes.
I am quite sure that women who are spending a lot of time cleaning the house would rather read a good book, meet a friend somewhere for a tea or coffee or spend their free time playing with kids or just relaxing.
If someone is doing something good for the whole family and that something is not very inviting and challenging job, the rest of the family should help and be less critical when someone who does the cleaning, loses the patience.
Think about how many people you know love to clean? Even the best women among us can had enough of it and complain.
Cleaning cannot be avoided so what family members can do when they see how hard it is, is to help them.
And not just to jump in when they are mad or nervous, but some of the household tasks should be taken over completely from them.
Family is all about sharing good and bad things.
It is important that family members support each other and help each other because no one has the family's best interest but members themselves.
If every member cleans after himself or herself, there will not be that much to do for mom or wife.
That is a fair situation and no one will be left feeling used.
Mom, if you see that your family members are not very keen to get involved in cleaning, you organize them.
Give to all of them, to small and grown up members, little chores that they will accept throughout the time and that will become their habit.
Do not expect that they will be up for it right away.
They will, off course, forget from time to time what their part of the job is but you need to be persistent in reminding them and it will work out.
Use creative ways to make cleaning interesting to them.
Do not feel bad about making them work, as most of us do because we all need to teach our family members some working habits.
That is more than good for them and for you too.
