These memories never go, they are always ready to demoralize us and change our perspective about life, and with this, I will like to say life is an adventure i advice never to venture unless you are in good terms with the scriptures, because you are not promised of the next minute, talk more of tomorrow. It catches us off guard and pushes us to a tight corner where we may not be able to enjoy that free will nature of man's creation, thereby subjecting us to its energy consuming circumstances that gradually takes us off balance, and eventually falling off track.

It's totally uncompromising and heartbreaking, but then, we can decide not to dance to this music if we fully arm ourselves with the words; the promises of God upon our life, which i like to call the bullet proof that takes us through life because life isn't just an adventure but also a battlefield and only the strong they say survive. And being strong in this context doesn't mean your physical endowment, it's way more complicated than that. It's basically about been on the right team and its either you are for God or against him, there's nothing in between.

The truth is, our past is controlled by the devil and our thought is what he uses to attack us. Basically, the mind is where all battles are either lost or won. It's the only weapon he's got. Whenever we want to make a move to achieve something, he comes with a rumbling rush to remind us of our unfortunate past. And i like to refer to them as our unfortunate past because we are already at this point living in regret and that's why it's so easy for him to capitalize on them and plant seeds of doubt in our mind.

First of all, he launches worry into us, and the truth is, by the time we start responding to it, he hasn't just succeeded in polluting our mind but has also been able to take full control of us, and that's when the battle between our quest to go forward and being held against our will in one position begins.
But then, lets not forget we have all it takes to paralyze the evil works of the devil and have a total control of our present and future regardless the unfortunate happenings and errors we may have committed in the past that's serving as a catalyst for the attacks of the devil on our mind by choosing to be on the right team; a team you don't have to buy tickets and go to the stadium to watch, a team kitted in white with all things pure and wonderful, the only team that is guaranteed to win all matches played without a red card or substitutions due to exhaustion, the team so heavenly and yet does wondrous things on earth, the team of the Almighty God.

So make a decision today to be a part of that team, and by this we can shut the devil up and not allow him torment us because the bible says, "therefore, if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things have become new". In other words, all your 'carry overs' are gone and you're now running on a zero point 'GP'. And instead of allowing the devil tell us we can't run because we fell the last time we tried, rather, get in your adidas track pants, get those laces tied, assume the position, get on your mark, get set and go. The truth is, we are living in a very wicked world, a very uncertain world, and due to its pressures and uncontrollable circumstances are prone to mistakes.

So it's not about not making mistakes, but learning from them and making them serve as a stepping stone that paves a way back to the top where we belong because we were created to rule. And that's why we need to be with the best team, the team of our Lord Jesus Christ because only him can help us bring the best out of every bad situation. Don't think the devil will just sit down, cross his arm and watch you have a smooth sail. He is going to give you a run for your money. It's only by your total submission, determination, prayer, your continuous fellowship and patronage of the Lord's kingdom that your freedom is guaranteed.

So get angry in your spirit and give meanings to the life you live. Don't allow the devil deprive you of the good things of today and tomorrow because of a mistake you made yesterday. Our scars remind us our past is real. Even the tattoo we inscribe on ourselves stay permanently on us even when we are tired of them.

The only thing that covers them for us are the fabrics we wear. In other words, our past really never goes away, they always come hunting, but if we allow God take control of our life, He wouldn't just re-write our script but also take off every garment of shame and get our new measurements across to the tailor because the old one no longer fits.
