You can do this next part in your sink or bathtub, depending on your preferences and the size of your pooch. Fill your tub or sink ¼ to ½ the way with lukewarm water. Be sure to test the temperature of the water before placing your Yorkie in the sink or tub.

Place your Yorkie in the water and use a cup to gently pour some of the water over their fur. Once the dog is wet, generously apply dog shampoo and lather. Use a cup to rinse your pup, or place him or her under gently flowing water. Let the used water out of the sink or tub and refill it with lukewarm water.
