How to Customize a 2002 Camaro
- 1). Remove the factory air box by removing the nuts that secure it to the engine bay by using your sockets. There is one at the driver's side and one at the rear of the air box.
- 2). Loosen the clamp that secures the air box hose to the center of the engine by using your Phillips head screwdriver.
- 3). Remove the MAF sensor that is located at the center of the air box's hose by prying it out with your flathead screwdriver.
- 4). Press the MAF sensor into the bottom of your cold air intake until it clicks into place.
- 5). Insert the female end of the cold air intake into the hose clamp which you loosened in Step 2 and tighten the clamp using your Phillips head screwdriver.
- 6). Secure the heat shield of the cold air intake to your engine bay by mounting it using your socket wrenches and the nuts which secured your old air box, or by using a strong double-sided tape.
