How to Install Gyro on CX2
- 1). Wipe one side of the gyro with an alcohol-doused cloth to remove any residual debris or oils on the encasement. Place a 1-inch segment of double-sided tape on the gyro and plant it along the yaw axis, which is the dividing line between the left and right side of the fuselage -- a line drawn from the nose to the rudder. Position it in an area with minimal vibration and exposure to heat. A great place is the plastic section that connects the rudder to the main fuselage.
- 2). Insert the rudder channel lead -- which uses three wires -- into the rudder channel on the receiver (second channel). If you want to use the head lock mode of the gyro, then you are finished with the installation procedure. Continue to the next step if you want to utilize dual connection modes, both Head Lock and Standard Rate.
- 3). Connect the auxiliary lead -- which has only one wire -- of the gyro to the fifth channel in the receiver. Now your gyro is installed and ready for flight.
